Lynnette C. "Chris" Pitts, 70 of Wakefield, Nebraska, formerly of Wayne, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the Wakefield Care Center. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska with lunch to follow in the dining facility of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation, with the family present, will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday Morning at the funeral home prior to the service.
