Lynn Marie Cook

Lynn Marie Cook, 63, of Sioux City, IA passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

A memorial visitation will held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel (3220 Stone Park Blvd.) in Sioux City.

Lynn Cook born on January 2, 1960, sharing the same birthday with her son Brandon. She was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa to the parents of Anita Spiedel and Robert Johnson. She was the oldest child with a younger brother Robert Jr. (Bobby) and a younger brother William (Billy). Lynn graduated from West High and was blessed in having two sons Brandon and Anthony. She provided for her family by working for Siouxland Paramedics as a transporter and loved hosting Tupperware parties of the 80's. Lynn put herself through school and was extremely proud of herself for becoming a beautician.

Her many collections included a love for unicorns, dolphins, clowns and Willow Tree figurines. Her interests included retro handheld games such as Yahtzee and had a passion for decorating be it her room, house or for the holidays. Lynn had a long struggle with COPD but she never let it get to her. She never complained and when asked how she was doing, she always replied with an "I'm good" and a smile.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father and her brother Bobby.

Lynn is survived by her two sons Brandon and Anthony, her brother Billy, many cousins, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
