Loren G. Lund

Loren G. Lund, 89 of Allen, Nebraska passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Congregational Church in Newcastle.

Loren was born the son of Lee and Annabeth (Browning) Lund on August 13, 1934 in Obert, Nebraska. He graduated from Newcastle High School in 1952. Loren married Grayce M. Millie on August 15, 1954 in Newcastle, Nebraska.

Loren farmed in Newcastle and Allen for many years. He also enjoyed dealing in cattle in Kentucky. He really didn’t have any hobbies outside of being a hard worker, but he did like to play Bingo in his later years.

Loren is survived by his sons, Tyler Lund of Allen, NE and Toby Lund of Castle Rock, CO; sister, Unell (Samuel) Dickey of WI; and grandchildren, Lily and Eli.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Grayce; and brother, Barry.
