Lois Viola (Beckwith) Bowman

Lois Viola (Beckwith) Bowman, 74, of South Sioux City, died Thursday, February 29, 2024, at her residence surrounded by family.  

Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Dakota City Cemetery.  

Lois was born August 18, 1949, in Delta, Colorado, the daughter of Doris (Schroeppel) and Jack Beckwith.

She married Kenneth Allen Bowman on March 6, 1985.  To their union, they had one daughter Tina Bowman.

Lois retired in 2018 from Alorica.  She was a great friend to everyone that crossed her path.  Lois enjoyed being with her family at granddaughters.

Lois is survived by her daughter Tina Bowman (Gerry Seavey); granddaughters:  Payton, Payzlee, and Paydence DeRochie all of South Sioux City; brother Jack Beckwith of Dakota Dunes; sister Jean (Bryan) Doyle of Rolla, MO; and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth in August of 2020, daughter Kimberly Tranmer, sister Darcia Strong, and sister-in-law Carol Beckwith.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Siouxland for their special care of Lois.
