Leslie Laurette Tyndall, 46, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Unity Point Hospital. Tribal ceremony will begin for her Wednesday, April 15, 2026 and then services will be Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11 A.M. at Saint Paul's Indian Mission.

Beloved daughter, sister, mother and Grandma, Leslie was born on January 16, 1980 in Sioux City, Ia. She grew up in Macy, Ne and attended school at Saint Augstine in Winnebago.

Leslie was better know by her nickname "Koozie", given to her when she was a baby by her Uncle Earl, also known as "Koozie".

When she was around 17 years old she met her kids father, Terrance Sr. and they shared three sons; Terrance Jr., Anthony and Nathaniel Bear Comes Out.

Koozie enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with her friends in her younger days. She also liked to color and would take walks.

Leslie is survived by her sons, Terrance Jr., Anthony and Nathaniel Bear Comes Out; her mother Libby Freemont; her brother Ambrose Tyndall; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her father, paternal grandparents, brothers and sister.
