Laura Lee Waters

Laura Lee Waters, 62, of Sunset Manor in Irene, South Dakota, formerly of Sioux City, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, South Dakota. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel is assisting the family. Laura was born on October 3, 1957 in Sioux City, to Richard Sr. and Joyce (Hintz) Wright. She was united in marriage to Bob Waters; he preceded her in death. She enjoyed being with family and friends, her music, crafts, and jewelry. She loved her cats and working with her Mom at the Food Pantry in Sioux City.

Those left to honor her memory include in her siblings: Dorene (Robert) Frasier of Mountain Home, ID; Dahrl (Lisa) Wright of Canton, SD; Richard Wright, Jr. of Syracuse, NY; Ralph (Robin) Wright of LeMars, IA; and Darla (Bill Soule) Wright of Sioux City, IA; and many nieces, nephews, and additional relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
