Laura Walters

Laura Walters was born on January 27, 1960 and passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021.  There will be a celebration of life for Laura held at Stone State Park, 5001 Talbot Rd. Sioux City, Iowa 51103 in the Wahkaw Shelter on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

Laura was a lifelong resident of Sioux City, Iowa. She attended Sioux City Public Schools and graduated from North High in 1979. After high school she graduated from beauty school and became a mother in 1982 and then again in 1994. Laura was a proud mother and grandmother and considered her children and grandchildren her greatest achievements.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Johnson, and Myerl Roberts Johnson; her brothers Dennis Johnson, and Wayne Johnson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ryan and Jennifer Walters (Omaha) and her three grandchildren: Elise, Meriel, and Robert; her son Adam Walters; her sisters Janice Stoddard and Alice Moore; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
