Larry "Pud" Lehmann

Larry "Pud" Lehmann, 81, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2020 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 6 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation with the family will start at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life party will be held at Pete's 20th of October 10, 2020 at 1PM. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Ellendale, at a later date.

Larry was the youngest son of George and Leona (Crowley) Lehmann. He was born on July 7, 1939 in Merrill, Iowa. He graduated from Liberty High School in rural Merrill, lowa.

Larry worked at Swift & Company for 28 years. After Swift shut down, he began roofing houses full time. He owned and operated Lehmann Roofing until 2003. He went on to work as a delivery driver at Bush Cleaners, and did whatever needed to be done at Sooz Saloon in the Stockyards.

Larry loved people and never knew a stranger. He was occasionally seen at local watering holes, where he would stop to buy a round, grab a bite to eat, or play a monkey machine. He enjoyed going out dancing. He was a life-long Green Bay Packer fan and loved watching Norte Dame football and the Yankees Baseball on television.

He is survived by his significant other, Susan Miller of Sioux City; his children, Lynn Lehmann of Sioux City, Mike (Beth) Lehmann of Marion, Ohio, Matt and (Kathy) Lehmann of Sioux City; significant others' children, Steve (Cissy) Miller of Sioux City, Brett Miller of Sioux City, Bart (Roberta) Miller of Sioux City, Megan (Justin) Edgington of Waukee, Sami (Joe) Baker of Sgt. Bluff; grandchildren, Katie (Mitch) Lehmann of Sioux City, Jody (Cody) Hanson of Sioux City, Ellinor and Laynee Lehmann of Sioux City; half-brother, George Lehmann; stepsister, Bonnie Meek of Eugene, Oregon; many nieces and nephews; and 16 great grandchildren who loved their Grandpa Larry. He was previously married to Janice Lehmann of Mesa, AZ.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, brother Jake (Sharon) Lehmann, sisters Patricia Theisen and Collette (Bob) Funk, his son Greg, stepbrothers Chuck and John Lehmann, and great-granddaughter Abigail Hanson.
