Kyle Nathan Dicus, 32, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at a local hospital. There will be a private family service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

Kyle was born November 28, 1990 in Sioux City, he was the son of Michael and Tracy Dicus and Denise Claude. He was raised in Sioux City and graduated from West High School in 2008. Following graduation, he attended Western Iowa Technical Community College and earned his Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Kyle worked around the tristate area in several positions including hotel finance manager.  On April 20, 2013, he married Jeffrey Allan in Sioux City.

Kyle enjoyed music of all genres but especially country music. He loved all facets of culinary arts including eating at restaurants, cooking, baking, and watching television shows related to cooking. He also enjoyed spending time with family and his beloved dogs, and adult coloring books. Kyle was active in the LGBT community and attended gay pride parades. He will greatly missed for his dark humor and colorful metaphors. He was incredibly generous and had a big heart for helping others.

Those left to honor his memory are his husband, Jeffrey of Sioux Falls, SD; parents Michael (Tracy) Dicus of Sioux City and Denise Claude of Sioux Falls, SD; sister Kara (Brandon) Dicus of Denver, CO; brothers Kolby Dicus of Milford, IA and James (Emily) Kobold of Sioux Falls, SD; step-brother Trent Engling of West Virginia; dogs Miles and Daphne; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kolton Dicus, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and dogs Scooby, Cena, and Reese.
