Kim is our angel here on earth. It is hard to picture Kim without seeing her beautiful smile. She was an inspiration to everyone she met because of the joy she showed in living her life.
She was born October 30, 1975,in Denver, Colorado - into a military family and adapted easily into every move we made. She made friends wherever she went, and brought nothing but joy and happiness to everyone she met. As a near-teen, Kim loved our three years in Germany where she did the Winter Special Olympics, going with a group of special-needs adolescents - and away from mom and dad for the very first time! Kim especially loved ice skating in her wheelchair.
Kim enjoyed shopping, lunch with friends, Country Western music, road trips, and "Christmas in July" at the Hallmark store - picking out special ornaments to give as gifts to family and friends.
Her favorite TV programs were Hallmark movies, the black and white Perry Mason shows, and 1960's game shows. And she loved her coke, corn dogs, and chicken nuggets.
We, and all who met and knew her, are blessed that Kim shared her life with us. She always gifted everyone her HUGE smile, incredible laughter, and BIG hugs.
In addition to her Mother, Kathy, and Father, Steve, Kim always will be remembered by her brother Chris, his wife Brigit, her nieces and nephews: Chloe, Colette, Sawyer and Sig; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, her very first great nephew...and her 98 year-old Gramma-Dee.
