Kim D. Jorgensen

Kim D. Jorgensen, 72, of South Sioux City, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at a local care center. 

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned.

Kim was born March 30, 1951, in Pender, Nebraska, the son of Gordon and Faye (Beirschenk) Jorgensen.  He attended Pender Schools.  Kim worked making pallets in the Siouxland area.  He enjoyed gardening and weekend outings, with his parents, going to the casino, and he was an avid fan of Elvis Presley.  During his time at Regency Square, Kim could often be found in the lobby, keeping track of visitors, and eating candy at the activities. 

Survivors include his siblings:  Keith Jorgensen of Kansas City, MO, Steve (Patricia) Jorgensen of Pender, NE, Debbie Christensen of Sioux City, and Cynthia (Gary) Kemp of Omaha, NE; many nieces and nephews; and an Aunt Marilyn Millard.

Kim was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Faye Jorgensen.
