Kevin A. Kyle

Kevin A. Kyle, 64, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019.  A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, August 31 from 1-3:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.  Private interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Kevin was born on March 5, 1955 in Sioux City to Earl and Lucile (Barkley) Kyle.  He attended college at University of Iowa and Iowa State College.  He enlisted in the United States Navy where he served as a meteorologist.  He retired in 1997.  Kevin was a member of the American Legion Post 697 and a member of St. James United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed reading and writing fan fiction.

Those left to honor his memory include his siblings:  Michael (Joanne) Kyle, Sioux City, Steven Kyle, Sioux City, Deborah Hatlestad, Federal Heights, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; older sister, Sandra Scheer; and brother-in-law, Bruce Hatlestad.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
