Kevin R. Davis

Kevin R. Davis, 68 of Sioux City passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025. Abiding by his wishes, cremation will take place.

Kevin was born the son of Stanley and Phyllis (Burns) Davis on November 5, 1956 in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended West side schools before leaving to honorably serve in the United States Army. During his four years of service, Kevin drove an ambulance in Germany.

Kevin was mechanically gifted. He just knew how to fix things. He worked at Iams and UPS for many years and had several other jobs.

He had a quirky personality and always seemed to come up with quick witted one liners that would make everyone laugh. He loved riding his Harley and spending time outdoors. He influenced his siblings musically. He liked all kinds and liked to dance and sing karaoke.

Kevin is survived by his son, Conor Davis of Sioux City, special young lady, Heather Brinkerhoff of Correctionville; siblings, Harvey (Tracy) Davis and Dawn Holsinger both of Sioux City, twin brother, Keith (Janet) Davis of Hemet, California, Dan Davis (Susan Buckalew) of Dares Beach, Maryland, and Rainy Johme of Grand Prairie, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother in infancy, Douglas; nephew, Christopher Holsinger; and brother-in-law, Keith Johme.
