Kenneth L. Nelson

Kenneth L. Nelson, 73, of Sioux City died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, July 17, 2025. A memorial service will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.

He was born to Joyce and Robert Nelson on September 6, 1951 in Onawa, IA. As a young man he served in the United States Navy and returned to Sioux City where he lived all his life.

He was a local business owner at A-All Pros for 40 years, offering construction, roofing, etc. In later years, he rehabbed and managed rental properties.

He is survived by siblings, Rita H. Nelson of Des Moines, and Dale L. Nelson of Sioux City; niece, Misty M. (Christopher) Nelson of Carlisle and their children, Geena and Jakob Blunk; and nephew, Jason (Katie) Nelson and their children, Alucard and Rhys of Lebanon, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Terri.
