Kenneth "Everett" & Doris Bahr

A Celebration of Life for Kenneth “Everett” and Doris Bahr of Dakota City will be Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Dakota City Fire Hall.

Everett and Doris were lifelong Dakota City residents. They were married March 4, 1954 and enjoyed 68 years together until her passing in 2022. They dedicated their lives to each other and treasured their family.

Everett and Doris owned and operated Bahr Plumbing and Heating for many years. There were also involved for many years with the Dakota City Volunteer Fire Department. Everett was a Korean War veteran.

They are survived by their children, Mary Jo Anderson, Jo (Kevin) Tonjes, and Everett Bahr; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

They were preceded in death by their parents; all of their siblings; and a son-in-law, Larry.
