Karon Kay Porsch

Karon Porsch, 82, of Sioux City, IA, passed away August 29, 2023.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be Wednesday, September 6^th at 2:00 p.m.at Westfield Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Karon was born on February 18, 1941 in Sioux City, IA to Chancy and Iela (Kaus) Dean.  She graduated from East High School and began working at Northwestern Bell.  She also worked at Sewermatic and was a 911 dispatch operator.  She enjoyed watching T.V., reading all the time, playing solitaire on her tablet, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her children; Neil Porsch, Sioux City, IA, Vicki McCuddin, Sioux City, IA; grandchildren: Mandi Porsch and Chad Wiess; great-grandchildren: Zoey and Corbin; sister, Detta Barnes; and a brother, Bud Dean.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Terry.
