Karen Kay Stockham

Karen Kay Stockham, 74, of Sioux City, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at a local hospital. Private family services will be held.

Karen was born on July 6, 1948 in Sioux City, to Carl Olaf Gunderson, Sr. and Lila Irene Brooks.

Survivors include her sisters: Doris Shadbolt of McCook Lake, SD; Joyce Rhine of Tuscon, AZ; brothers, James Gunderson of Nebraska; children: Valerie Langdeaux of Akron, IA; Michele Austin of Hornick, IA; Brian Stockham of Sioux City; Kevin Stockham of Sioux City; Lisa Whitaker of Sergeant Bluff, IA; Sherry “Sky” Barker of Sioux City; Lori Stockham of Sioux City; Travis Stockham of Sioux City; and Stephanie Snyder of Sioux City; numerous grandkids and great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and five siblings: Edna Olson of Phoenix, AZ; Ida Junck of Mission, TX; Norma Menard of Denver, CO; Gerald Gunderson of Sioux City; and Carl Gunderson, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ.
