Karen Kay Rood

   Karen K. Rood, 78, of Sioux City, IA passed away in her home on July 20, 2022 surrounded by her family.

   Cremation rites will be accorded and no services are planned. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is assisting with arrangements.

   Karen Kay (Russell) Rood is survived by her four children: Russell Huffman and significant other Sherri Hansen of Merrill, IA, Christine Huffman Simon of Sheldon, IA, Veronica Jo Huffman of Sioux City, IA, and Joleen Delutri and husband Monty of Merrill, IA; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one brother, Dan Russell and wife Luiza of Georgia; other relatives and friends.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Charlotte (Saltzgiver) Russell; husband, Alan Rood; and one sister, Virginia Morley.
