Kara Ann Scholl

July 20, 1980 — June 4, 2022

Kara Ann Scholl, 41, of Sergeant Bluff, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 unexpectedly.

Services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.

Kara was born the daughter of Jerry and Marsha (Maguire) Scholl on July 20, 1980, in Ida Grove, IA.  She graduated from Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School in 1998.  She attended WITCC for one year after high school and then transferred to SDSU in Brookings, SD.

Kara was employed by Allied Solutions, Inc. as a Lender Communication Expert. She was one of their highest-level employees in the customer service department. Kara previously worked several years in Brooking S.D. at various employers. Kara’s work ethic was always praised by her employers.

Kara enjoyed spending time with her family and her fur babies, Lucy and Dakota.  Kara enjoyed fishing and giving her Nebraska family grief about the Huskers as Kara was an avid Hawkeye fan.  She loved spending time with her niece, Addison, who was the love of her life.

Kara is survived by her parents, Jerry and Marsha Scholl of Sergeant Bluff, sister, Heather (Matt) Reinhardt of Sioux City, her beloved niece Addison Reinhardt of Sioux City, aunts and uncles; Steve and Ann Scholl of Sergeant Bluff, Jeanette Drevs of Ida Grove, IA and cousins Lisa (Eric) Stroud of Nashville, TN, Scott Scholl of Sioux City, IA, Amanda (Dee Jay) Campbell of Ida Grove, IA and Samantha (Sloan) Whiteley of Wright City, OK and adopted niece and nephew; Rebecca Whiteley and David Campbell.  

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, L.E. Bing and Elsie Scholl of Moville, IA, and Ray and Lois Maguire of Ida Grove, IA, and her uncle Frank Drevs of Ida Grove, IA.
