Joshua A. Rogers

Joshua A. Rogers, 42, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at a local hospital.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.   Visitation with family will be one hour prior at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Online arrangements may be made at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Josh was born December 9, 1981, the son of Bryan Maron and Rhonda Rogers.  He graduated from North High School in 2000, where he was active in choir, madrigal, wrestling, and the Army Guard.

Josh worked at Taco Bell and Taco John’s when he was younger, Arnold Motor Supply, then at Alorica as a manager until his declining health.

Survivors include his mother, Rhonda Rogers, grandmother Judy Rogers, stepsisters: Heather (Sean) Vaughan and her sons and Shalli Eggleston, aunts:  Renee Hegel, Brenda Puls, Donna Maron, and Jean Allen, and cousins:   Jordan, Jamie, and Jennifer and other cousins.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Bryan Maron, in August of 2023, grandpa Jim Rogers, grandparents Glen and Ida Maron, and great grandparents Wendell and Donnie Allen and Earl and Lillian Rogers, and uncle Jim Allen.

He was a kind and caring soul, never saying a bad word about anyone.  He braved a lot of pain but remained positive through it all.  Josh was an avid Steelers Fan and Iowa Women’s Basketball Fan.  Faith became very important to him.
