Jim Allen Williams

Jim Allen Williams, 69, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at a local hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  

Jim was born October 21, 1951 in Washington, the son of Dellas and Evelyn (Allen) Williams.  He worked for St. Joseph Hospital for 20+ years, Tyson Event Center for 10+ years, and worked and volunteered for the Soup Kitchen and the Warming Shelter.  He loved working with his son on the racecar and spending time at Interstate Race Track.  Jim was a member of the Disable Rollers Bowling League and enjoyed bowling.  

Survivors include his son Dellas and wife Amy Williams of Sioux City; grandchildren:  Devlian Williams and Izzy Scofield; and siblings:  Alice Menard, Viola Dowell, Chuck Williams, Glenn Williams, Ernie Williams and Lorraine DeWolf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ruth, a sister Irene, and a father-figure and close friend A.P. Idso.
