Jessica Ann Barker

Jessica Ann Barker, 45 of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 after a sudden illness. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. 

Jessica was born the daughter of Paul and Paula (Crane) Barker on June 26, 1978 in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from West High School in 1996 and later obtained a bachelor's degree from Briar Cliff. She spent time in Arizona, New Mexico, and Iowa. 

Jessica worked many jobs in the service industry over the years. She was currently working at The Market Delivers and HyVee. 

She had a wide range of interests and hobbies. She liked playing old console video games, watching movies, and rock painting. Her musical tastes included 90s Rap, R&B, and Grunge. She also liked plants, pottery, and caring for others. 

Jessica is survived by her children, Broghan (Marcus) Dover and Corbin Patton, all of Sioux City; parents, Paul and Paula Barker of Apache Junction, AZ; close friends, Cal and Val; and her cat, Squatch.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; aunt, Jeanne; and uncle Bob.
