Jesse P. Miller

Jesse Miller, 44, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 3rd, in Sioux City.

Jesse Philip Miller was born July 7th, 1981, to Joseph and Rebecca (Wellman) Miller in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During his life, he lived in Oklahoma City, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Springfield, Missouri and Birmingham, Alabama before moving to Sioux City.

He met the love of his life, Ashley Cooper in the summer of 2013, and they married July 27th, 2025.

Jesse was a kind and gentle soul who saw the good in every situation. He was a happy person, always helpful and ready to do anyone a favor. Jesse was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved playing with his nephews, Mason and Keegan and wrestling with them. Jesse was an avid Iowa Hawkeye football fan and spent all his Saturdays in football season glued to the TV cheering them on, as well as getting to go see them play in a game.

Jesse was employed as a Continuous Improvement Specialist at Wells Blue Bunny at the time of his death. He had previously worked at Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, and Fleet Farm before he went to work at Wells.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Ashley Miller and furbaby Petunia, of Sioux City, his parents, Joseph and Rebecca Miller, brother Jared (Mandy) Miller, and furbabies Phoebe and Coco, all of Sioux City, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, with the visitation from 5-7 and memory sharing , at 7-8 pm at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Avenue.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jared Miller, James Kollbaum, Michael Wipf, and Jeff Rehan.

The family requests you wear Iowa Hawkeye attire in honor of Jesse’s passion.
