Jeffrey Joseph Hulit

Jeffrey Joseph Hulit, 53, of Sioux City, died at a local hospital on October 21, 2025. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home, followed by a light lunch.

Jeffrey was born on November 22, 1971, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Jerold and Vickie Hulit. He attended Homer Community School.

He lived in Riverside for many years. He started his career at Harris Construction and later spent twenty years working at Sioux City Engineering.

Survivors include Son: Tanner Joseph Hulit of South Sioux City, Mom: Vickie Hulit of Homer, Brothers: Scott (Michelle) Hulit of Homer & Jesse Norris of Homer, Sister Angie (Rob) Blades, and Nieces: Kaley (Keaton) and Rylee, Nephew Wyatt, and his dog Huey.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his dad, Jerold Hulit, Grandma and Grandpa Frank, and Grandma and Grandpa Hulit.

His family, friends, and companions will remember him fondly. Shane Kinzie and Randy Neal held a special place in his life and will remember him especially well.
