Hailing from a farm and ranch background, Janet had a deep love for the outdoors and animals. Memories of roaming the fields and riding horses were treasures from her upbringing that shaped her adventurous spirit.

She is survived by her sons Travis Noble of Prairie Village, KS and Colin Engel of South Sioux City; granddaughters: Sadie Lynn Engel of Sergeant Bluff, Jessica Noble of Omaha, and Liv Noble of Kansas City, and beloved sister Susan (Gary) Chapman of Moville, IA.
