Jane was born August 19, 1961 to Robert and Shirley Oberg.  She attended school in South Sioux City, graduating in 1979, where she still has the enduring distinction of holding the school record in the 400-meter run.

She married Dean Bleil on July 17, 1982.  Together they raised their four children, Michael, Cody, Justin, and Taylor.  Their hearts and home were also opened to Tydus Struble, whom Jane affectionately became ‘Mom’ to, and he was lovingly cared for and embraced during much of his childhood.

Jane was talented in many ways.  She was an expert gardener, a passionate cook, and an exceptional artist, she poured her heart into every pursuit.  She adored her grandchildren and her little dog Rudy.  Her love was unwavering, unquestionable, and leaves an enduring mark that will forge on through every soul she touched.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Shirley Oberg, sister Jodene Callahan, brother-in-law Doyle Bleil, and father-in-law Don Bleil.

Jane is survived by her patient and dependable husband Dean, children Michael (Andrea), Cody, Justin, and Taylor, as well as grandchildren Madison, Makenzie, Emma, and Carson. Her father, Robert Oberg, and mother-in-law, Bev Bleil, also cherish her memory. Siblings Rob, Joan (Chris), Rhonda (Kevin), and Randi, along with numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other loved ones, join in preserving the memory of a whimsical woman whose love will endure in our hearts forever.
