James Richard Witzka

 James Richard Witzka, 75, of Sioux City passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024 at a local nursing home. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.

 James was born on September 21, 1948 in Sioux City, to Emil and Dora (Carver) Witzka. He worked for Metz baking in South Sioux City for over 27 years until his retirement.

 His hobbies included playing bingo, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

 James is survived by his daughter, Stacey Sila (Pat); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Witzka; and brother, Randy Witzka.

 He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; sons: Bryan, Art, and Dale; daughters: Kathy and Bernice; two grandsons: Richie and David; siblings: Kevin Witzka, Don Witzka, Robert Witzka, Jeannnie Witzka, Emil Witzka, and Vernon Witzka.
