James S. Towler, 76, of Sioux City, IA passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at his residence with his wife, Julie, by his side. James was born March 12, 1947, to Robert and Beverly (Johnson) Towler in Sioux City, IA. He married Julie Giese on August 27, 1994. James resided in Sioux City until his time of passing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

James is survived by his wife Julie Towler, children: Scott (Ivy) Towler of Coralville, IA, Lisa (Matt) Braet of Sioux City, IA, Rob (Katie) Towler of Sioux City, IA, Stacy (Gary) Bianchini of South Sioux City, NE, Cece (Joe) Rueckert of Prior Lake, MN, fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John Towler, and one sister, Roberta Severeide.
