James Joseph "Jim" Olejniczak

James J. "Jim" Olejniczak, 69, of South Sioux City, died on January 15, 2024.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior at the funeral home.

Jim was born on December 14, 1954, to Harold and Mary R. (Saggers) Olejniczak, the fourth of six children. Jim graduated from South Sioux City Senior High in 1973

Jim delivered mail in South Sioux City, retiring after 41 years of service. He enjoyed playing pool and was nationally ranked. He looked forward each summer to "Saturday in the Park", rarely missing the event.

Jim is survived by his spouse, Sherry L. Olejniczak, his daughter, sons, stepson, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and siblings.

He was predeceased by his parents, his son, James J. Olejniczak, Jr., sisters Margaret R. Thorp and Theresa R. Antrim, and brother, Harold T. Olejniczak.
