James "Jim" K. Schlumbaum, 62, of Sioux City, IA, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Jim, the son of Harlan and Carol (Homan) Schlumbaum was born on July 3, 1963, in Sioux City. He was raised in Sioux City and was a graduate of West High School. In his earlier years, he worked various jobs in Sioux City. Those who knew Jim remember him as a vibrant and spirited individual. During his younger years, Jim treasured the outdoors—spending time fishing, engaging in lively conversations with others, and going on vacations with his parents.

He is also remembered by his nieces and nephews and their families, including Alex Bochman and her husband David, along with their children Khloe, Maggie, Baler, and Barrett; Hannah Nadwick and her husband Logan; and Makenna Schlumbaum.
