James Joseph "JR" Foster, Jr.

James Joseph “JR” Foster, Jr., 26 of Sioux City, our son, father, brother, nephew, boyfriend, and friend has gone to be our angel on Sunday, August 20, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.

JR was born April 13, 1997 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was so full of life, loved everybody, and was always polite. JR loved to fish and ride his bike. He was always a jokester and the daring one in crowds. JR loved his girls, Peyton and Lakoda and their mother, Kenzee. He enjoyed teaching them how to build bike ramps and do backflips on their trampoline.

JR will fondly be remembered for living life to the fullest. For always laughing and joking around and doing what he could to help anyone in need. He had his struggles in life, but he always made it out of them. He had a heart of gold, and he will be missed dearly.

JR is survived by his children, Peyton and Lakoda; girlfriend, Kenzee Lambertson; mother, Jenny (Dave Tighe); father, James Foster, Sr.; sisters, Sydney (Josh) Kuester, Amanda (Cobie) Foster, and Jessica (Justin) Foster; grandmothers, Patricia Foster and Chris Foster; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chet and Betty Mace and Cecil and Joan Butts; and grandfather, Bill Foster.
