James L. Bradshaw, 84 of Jefferson, South Dakota passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at his residence. Abiding by family wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Reverend Patti Meyer officiating. Visitation, with family present will begin at 2:30 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Fellowship and refreshments will follow the service at the funeral home.

Jim was born on February 4, 1942, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Everett R. and Margaret (Trobaugh) Bradshaw. He graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, South Dakota. Jim married Linda Beavers on July 11, 1964, and to this union, three sons were born.

Jim worked most recently as a driver for Waste Management, and previously at Sioux City Milk Producers Association and John Morrell. He enjoyed gardening and hunting and watching his sons' and grandsons' sporting events.

Jim is survived by his sons Barry (Bonnie) Bradshaw of Garretson, South Dakota, Bart (Michelle) Bradshaw of Jefferson, South Dakota, and Robert Bradshaw of Jefferson, South Dakota; brother Everett (Ann) Bradshaw of Sloan, Iowa; and grandsons Adam (Madison Rice) Bradshaw of Ankeny, Iowa and Nicholas Bradshaw of Bismarck, North Dakota.

James was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter-in-law Lisa Bradshaw.
