Jackie Jr., the son of Jack Lee Paulsen, Sr. and Henrietta Henry was born on November 20, 1973 in Sioux City, IA; where he grew up and graduated from North High School being overachieved and excelled in mathematics.
Jackie has worked many jobs over the course of his life, painting for Chris Bauer close to a decade was his most memorable occupation. Jackie was also a handy man working in trades such as installing HVAC, etc. with his brother John. Truly a “Jack” of all trades.
Jackie will be remembered for his ability to make even the toughest in the room laugh; he was the life of the party! He made jokes that made you realize how smart, quick witted and original he truly was. He was gifted in that way, brightening even the darkest of days. Jackie also was known for his love of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Obsessive really, That was Jackie.
He was a member of the Santee Sioux Tribe.
Jackie Jr., is survived by his children, Derek Morris, Sara Vandall, Rayleigh Thomas, Shayleigh Thomas, Jacklyn Luke, Cloey Paulsen, Kyle Paulsen, and Diana Paulsen-Morris.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter Paige in infancy.
Honorable mention to his brother John, two peas in a pod him and Jackie. Thank you eternally for taking care of him in his last moments. Long live Jackie Lee; may our memories keep him alive in our hearts.
