Glenn was born the son of Albert and Anna (Johnson) Biggerstaff on May 9, 1940 in Vermillion, South Dakota.  He married the love of his life, Jeanne Huigens on January 7, 1961 in Sioux City.

Glenn worked for Loe’s Market for several years before opening Glenn’s Gas and Groceries at the corner of West 4th and Fawcett Streets which was a well-known business in Sioux City for many years.  He enjoyed handing out Tootsie Rolls to the kids who came to his station.  In his retirement years he enjoyed driving valet for the Argosy Casino.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Jeanne Biggerstaff of Sioux City; daughters, Tracy Bates of Sioux City, Terry (Ted) Tastad of Sioux City, and Julie (Craig) Guenther of Arvada, Colorado; sister, Bonnie Rouse; 11 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Delbert, Melvin, Mary Francis, and Velma.
