Gina R. Meier

Gina R. Meier, 54, of South Sioux City, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022.  A memorial visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City.  Online condolences may be directed to meyerbroschapels.com.

Gina was born the daughter of Francis and Verna (Rager) Hunt on May 8, 1968 in Pender, Nebraska.  She graduated from Bancroft Rosalie High School in 1986.  Gina married Kim Meier on December 31, 2009.  Gina worked for Flywheel Inc. for over 10 years. 

She enjoyed spending time sitting outside relaxing and tending to her garden.  She liked to keep Kim busy with landscape and yard projects.  She spent a lot of time camping and boating with her family.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved grandchildren. 

Gina is survived by her husband, Kim Meier of South Sioux City; children, Amanda (Steve) Bugbee of Savannah, Missouri, Justin (Britny) Jasa of Sioux City, and Jesse (Jodie) Grell of Pender; step-son, Taylor Meier of Houston, Texas; and 9 grandchildren, Ryder, Rayce, Dallas, Chloe, Emma, Mason, Kaydn, Myles, and Ava.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
