Gary Lee Kroll

Gary Lee Kroll, 84, of Sioux City passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Gary was born on August 9, 1936 to Ben and Helen (Eggen) Kroll in Hinton. He grew up in Hinton, moving to Sioux City after he married Sue Jebsen on January 20, 1955 in Sioux City.

He worked for over 30 years at Kay Dee Feeds, then moving on to work for the Sioux City School District until his retirement. Gary was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church with his wife Sue.

In his spare time, Gary loved fishing, gardening, and tinkering in his workshop. He also enjoyed to watch wildlife.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Kroll; three daughters: Connie DeRocher (Richard); Linda Williams (Tye); and Brenda Iwen; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Roma.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rhonda Kramer; brother, Dennis; and sister, Cindy.
