Gail Mary Wiener, a devoted homemaker and cherished matriarch, passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 99 in LeMars,Iowa. Born on September 11, 1926, in Allen, Nebraska, she grew up to embody the spirit of kindness and dedication that would define her life.

Gail graduated from Randolph Nebraska High School, where she not only excelled academically but also proudly served as a cheerleader. This early foundation of enthusiasm and leadership carried through her lifelong journey as she devoted herself to her family and loved ones. Her home was a hub of activity and love, where she instilled values of faith and perseverance. Gail firmly believed that "the love that goes into raising kind, capable children is a lifelong accomplishment," a testament to her commitment to nurturing her family.

A vibrant presence in the lives of those around her, Gail was known for her energetic nature and her active involvement with family and friends. Her unwavering support and wise counsel provided guidance to many throughout life's challenges. Above all, her proudest achievements were the close-knit family bonds she built with her late husband, Louis Wiener, over their remarkable 55 years together. Their legacy endures in the hearts of their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Gail’s enthusiasm extended beyond her family. She loved to "shop till she dropped" with her daughters and granddaughters, always making sure to create lasting memories and special moments. Furthermore, her beloved family would recount how each of them felt like her favorite child or grandchild, a reflection of her boundless and unconditional love.

Gail's legacy continues through her surviving family: her children, Fran Snyder (Miami, FL), Ron (Vicky) Wiener (Flower Mound, TX), Jeff (Theresa) Wiener (Ontario, CA), Mary (Steve) DeRocher (LeMars, IA), Lori (Steve) Luse (Longview, TX), and Bud (Kris) Wiener (Tulsa, OK); her sister-in-law, Ruth Ellen Truby (Randolph, NE); as well as her 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, with two more great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way. She is predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Louis, an infant daughter, Linda, her sister, Helen Brey Fogle, her brother, LaVern Truby, and her son-in-law, Ron Snyder.

Gail Mary Wiener will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, unwavering love, and the indelible impression she left on all who were fortunate enough to know her. With her guidance and nurturing heart, she fostered a legacy that showcases the profound impact of family and faith. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide her family in the days and years to come.
