Eric Reichardt

Eric J. Reichardt of South Sioux City, NE passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025. He was born in Rochester, NY. He will be dearly missed by family and many friends. Eric will be remembered for his quiet demeanor, sharp wit, and sense of humor. He was a proud member of the American Legion, Post 307, South Sioux City, NE.

As the youngest of eleven he is survived by sisters Rosemary Stark (Doug), Pauline Kuehl, Margaret Hoefer (Jim), Joan Oliver (Randy), Susan Smith, Cathy Sawyer (Joe), Bernadette Taylor (Greg) and brother Mark Reichardt (Lynn). He is predeceased by his parents Gordon and Grace Reichardt, brother John Reichardt and sister Roberta Reichardt and brother in law John Kuehl. Eric also leaves behind 17 nieces and nephews and 29 great nieces and nephews. Internment will be August 22, 2025 in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Fonda, Iowa. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held on August 23,2025 from 3-6 pm at the American Legion, Post 307, South Sioux City, NE.
