Doyle Dean Kelly, 72 of South Sioux City, Nebraska on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at his residence comforted by family. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home with Chaplain Michelle Episcopo officiating. Refreshments will follow. Visitation, with family present, beginning at 3:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa.
Doyle was born on August 27, 1952 in Sioux City, Iowa to Jess and Ruth (Langston) Kelly. He received his education in the Sioux City Public Schools, graduating from East High School.
Doyle married Donna (Frank) Oliver on March 20, 1992.
Doyle worked at IBP/Tyson for 41 years, starting in August of 1975, and from which he retired. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing (especially with Wayne Luber, Frank Foreman, Roger Bushelman, and his wife), and watching his grandkids in all their sports (he was a loving father and grandfather).
Doyle is survived by his son Mark (Amy, Shawn, and Alexis); his son James “Jake” Oliver (Daja, Jaylin, Jayde, Julian, and Christian); his daughter Nicole Oliver (Drew and Demi); and several very close cousins, in-laws, and many nephews and nieces.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, cousins Craig Kelly and Clint Kelly, in-laws Merle and Harriet Frank, and brother-in-law Tim Frank.
