Doug L. Taylor

Doug L. Taylor, 63, of South Sioux City, NE passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at a local hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, November 23, 2025, at The Huddle in South Sioux City.

Doug was born on August 4, 1962, in Sioux City, the son of Don B. Taylor Sr. and Francis (Ward) Taylor. He graduated from East High School in 1981. Doug married Lisa Watkins on May 17, 1997. He worked for the family business as an electrician, pipefitter, and welder. Doug enjoyed fixing old electronics and playing games on his phone.

Survivors include his wife Lisa Taylor of South Sioux City; brothers: Dennis and wife Linda Taylor of Sioux City and Dana and wife Jennifer Taylor of Colorado; nephew Scott (Jenn) Taylor and niece Kim, lovingly known as Kimmy by Doug, and her husband Kevin Keleher; stepdaughter Kristi (John) McLeod and stepson Travis Watkins both of Sioux City; and three grandchildren: Adam (Daisy), Katie, and Elliyah.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Don.
