Dorothy married Keith Chapin on April 13, 1985 in Saratoga, California. In their retirement years they toured the United States and Canada in a travel trailer. They visited every state in the U.S. and had many memorable trips cruising and flying to other countries in the world. She loved learning about the cultures and people of the places that they visited. They were excited to return to the Midwest and move to Sunrise where they met so many wonderful people and developed friendships over the years. She would always share with her family what a wonderful 43 years she and Keith were able to spend together.

Left to cherish Dorothy's memory include her husband, Keith; children, Renee (Randy) Scupin of Discovery Bay, California and Sean Pauley of Campbell, California; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Vincent (Dorothy) Kramper of Dakota City, Nebraska and extended family and friends.
