Donald K. Tasy

Donald K. Tasy, 71 of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. 

Donald was born the son of Gabriel Tasy and Mary Weiser on August 17, 1952 in Reading, Pennsylvania. He attended Reading High School before he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at age 16. He was a Corporal by age 19 and a Purple Heart recipient during Vietnam.  

Donald worked at the Sioux City Foundry for many years and then drove truck.

Don enjoyed hanging out at the Townhouse or on his patio, talking to the neighbors. He loved to watch football, especially Penn State and the Seattle Seahawks. He also liked going to auctions, looking for lost treasures. 

Don is survived by his children, Kristina (Phil) Tribuzio, Michelle (Dean) Delrosario, Teresa Tasy, Montana (Michael) Drury, Kalina (Royce Kratz) Tasy, and Aurora (Ryan Neff) Tasy; step-daughter, April Van Dusen; sister, Paulette; grandchildren, Tony, Michael, Braxton, Kyler, Grace, Keegan, Gianni, Laik, Paisley, Alexandria, and Maddison; great-grandsons, Colton and Luke; and beloved dog, Lexi.

He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved dog, Marlee.
