Donald "Don" Glen Price

Donald Glen “Don” Price, 78, of Sioux City, IA passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at his residence.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is assisting with arrangements.

Donald “Don”, the son of Clarence and Beulah (Young) Price, was born July 17, 1945, in Sioux City. Don grew up and attended school in Sioux City. As a teenager, he started working with his dad in the tree trimming business.

On January 14, 1966, Don was united in marriage to Denice R. Heimer in Luverne, MN and this union was blessed with three sons. The family made their home in Sioux City and Don owned/operated his tree service business for many years until health concerns forced him to quit. Some of Don’s hobbies included: fishing and hunting in his younger years and he loved taking care of his pets.

He is survived by his wife, Denice Price of Sioux City; two sons: Brian Price of Sioux City and Kevin Price (Debbie Tasy) of Sioux City; six grandchildren: Ashley, Trevor, Katelynn, Sydney, Ali, and Alex; and four great grandchildren: Tanner, Kylie, Karter, and Cadence.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brad Price; and seven siblings.
