Donald "Don" Clifford Baumgardner

Donald "Don" Clifford Baumgardner, 63, of Sioux City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at a local hospital.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.

Don was born on November 2, 1963, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Clifford and Jeraldine “Jeri” (Newkirk) Baumgardner. Don attended Akron-Westfield Schools and worked as a mechanic and enjoyed body work and working on cars.

It is evident from the strong bonds he maintained with his family that he lived a life of commitment and integrity and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved fishing, and spending time in his garden.

Don is survived by his mother Jeri Baumgardner of North Sioux City; children: Tiffany (David) Meyer of Le Mars and Desiree (Dale) Davis of Sioux City, Montana (Amanda) Baumgardner of Homer, NE and Hunter Baumgardner of Sioux City; ten grandchildren; and one sister.

He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Baumgardner and his child Gemini.
