Denise J. Kinquist

Denise J. Kinquist, 57 of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be at Graceland Park Cemetery. 

Denise was born the daughter of Thomas and Shirley (Parker) Kinquist on December 17, 1966. She was one of the early pioneers and first members of the Pride Group, established in Le Mars in 1985. She kept busy cleaning offices and banks and helped with laundry services. 

Denise enjoyed going for walks with her friends around Le Mars, where she was cared for and looked after by the community. She also liked participating in holiday programs and playing games.

Denise is survived by her parents, Thomas and Shirley Kinquist; uncle, Larry Kinquist; sister-in-law, Robin Kinquist; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Stewart Kinquist.
