Debra was born in Sioux City, IA on August 13, 1954. She was the daughter of Chuck and Carol Miller. She graduated with the class of 1972 at Central High School in Sioux City. After school, she married Al Knight of Sioux City on April 21, 1972, and moved to Fort Benning, GA. After a few years, they returned to Sioux City once again. To this union, a son and daughter were born: Chad and Amanda. Debbie was an extremely loving mother and taught her children many things. Deb worked for Pacific City Graphics in South Sioux City, NE., as an Account Manager for the Boyles in Dakota Dunes, SD, and an Assistant Administrator at Casa De Paz in Sioux City. Finally, Deb found her calling, a job at HCM as a Financial Consultant and traveled Central Iowa for the next 15+ year. She was an active member of Westlawn Presbyterian Church, where she also took care of the books. Debbie was deeply committed to her family and was a BIG part of her grandchildren’s lives. Her grandson Skylar and granddaughter Macayla gave her the honor of being “THE BEST”, great grandmother. When she wasn’t spoiling her grand-babies with love, you could find her reading a good book, quilting, sewing and crafting many beautiful projects to the sound of her favorite artist, Kenny Chesney.
