Debra Ann Bristol

March 27, 1955 — April 2, 2022

Debra Ann Bristol, 67, of North Sioux City, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, April 2, 2022.  A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  

Debra was born the daughter of Elmer and Vivian (Wynn) Colt on March 27, 1955 in Sioux City, Iowa.  She attended Riverside High School.  Debra married Ron Keleher, Sr. and to this union three children were born, Ron Jr., Jennifer, and Rickie Lee.  She later married the love of her life, Milton Bristol in March of 1986.  They have made their home in North Sioux City for many years.

Debra was a waitress at Roadway, the North Sioux Truck Stop, and Connie’s Café over the years.  She later worked for IAMS until her retirement. 

She will be fondly missed by her grandchildren, whom she helped raise and loved to spend time with.  She enjoyed being in her home and having friends and family over to play games and cards.  She also enjoyed reading and taking her grandchildren to the library in their younger years. 

Debra is survived by her loving husband, Milton Bristol of North Sioux City; children, Ron (Leisa Hilden) Keleher, Jr. of Sioux City, Jennifer (Jeremy) Murdock of Sioux City, and Dustin (Misty) Bristol of Tuscan, Arizona; siblings, Terry Colt, Karen McMahon, Carrie Dunne, Ernie Colt, Wendy Nason, and Kathy Poshard; grandchildren, Ty, Seth, Jazmine, Joyce, and Kylie; brother-in-law, Don Bristol; and sisters-in-law, Pat Bosse, Shirley Sexton, and Dorothy Glassy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son in infancy, Rickie Lee; and siblings, Pam, Ted, and Denise.
