Dale J. Vitito

Dale J. Vitito, 65 of South Sioux City passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 8, 2024 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. 

Dale was born the son of Jack and Faye (Reisch) Vitito on December 14, 1958 in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from South Sioux City High School. Dale married Terrie Pojar on June 22, 1988. They made their home in South Sioux City. Dale has owned and operated Jack’s Uniforms and Equipment since 1991.

He loved spending time at their home in Fort Randall on Lake Francis Case, where he did a lot of walleye fishing. Dale held his grandchildren close to his heart and time with them was important to him. He also enjoyed deer hunting and flying drones. 

Dale is survived by his wife Terrie of South Sioux City; sons, Beau (Nikki) Albertson of South Sioux City, Cody (Susie) Albertson of South Sioux City, and Tanner Vitito and significant other, Melissa of North Sioux City; mother, Faye Vitito; brothers, Doug (Judia) Vitito of Jackson and Don (LeAnne) Vitito of Omaha; grandchildren, Madison, Cobe, Tate, Paislley, Axell, and Valley; nephews, Ryan Miller and Michael Vitito; and niece, Sara (Max) Powers.

He was preceded in death by his father.
