Curtis L. Moore

Curtis L. Moore, 75 of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023. A memorial service will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 22, 2023 at United Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Curtis was born on September 30, 1947 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was raised by the Moore family and always considered them his family. Curtis ran a paper route for many years and also worked in hotel services.

He enjoyed many things in this world, but one of the biggest ones was to just talk with others. He also enjoyed taking trips to visit family members in Logan, Iowa and stopping at Small’s Fruit Farm on the way to pick apples from the orchard or their small store. He had a kind heart and would always share them with friends and staff when he returned. Curtis also had a life-long passion for professional wrestling that he loved to talk about and when he got the chance, he would even go to matches in person.

Curtis is survived by his longtime companion, Patti German of Sioux City; brother, Bob Moore and sister, Dorothy Whitmore.
