Craig J. Kiertzner, 71 of Sioux City passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 following a sudden illness. Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Craig was born the son of Elvie and Mary (Waters) Kiertzner on May 6, 1954 in Sioux City, Iowa. He received his schooling in Homer and South Sioux City.

After high school, Craig enjoyed working at his father’s restaurant, The Karousel in South Sioux City. He later became a mechanic, working at several car lots and even owned and operated, EZ Auto Finance for several years.

Craig had a passion for anything with a motor. He loved tinkering and wrenching on cars, motorcycles, boats, you name it. He loved making things fast and loud. He also had a special bond with his dog, Ruger who he rescued from a shelter.

Craig is survived by his children, Jacob Wabashaw and Tiffeny Neal; and grandchildren, Faith and Lucas Neal.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
